IV core has a lot of things on their plate IMO. Calling lawmakers should be just an initiative from the members.
When the need comes, I am sure IV core will guide us with an aggressive calling plan.
For now, we should concentrate on stregthening our state chapters as well as increasing membership while taking a look at contributions.
But do call Sen.Cornyn's office regularly such that SKIL bill has a chance soon.

I think all it is saying is that you need to submit the approved labor certification application with your i-140/485 concurrent application, as far as i can remember my lawyer sent in my approved labor cert appli with my concurrent filing appli.. although please check with ur lawyer...

My old H-1b will expire on June 30 2007. My employer has applied the new H-1b extension, but it is still pending. I am planning to go back to my country this summer and try to apply for H-1 visa in US embassy in early June. My question is whether I can apply for H-1 visa using the old one (expire on June 30) while the new one is pending. How long will be my H-1 visa valid (usually 3-month in my country)? Will I get 3-month or till the expirating date(June 30)? Can I come back to US? Many thanks.

We did not renew her I-94. She's my dependent and I'm EAD. She doen't even have an EAD, I haven't appllied for her yet.
Our I-94 are expired now and our AP too. If I need to travel, I will need to apply for a new AP.
BTW, we entered through Denver (DIA).
All you need is your passport and AP. That's all!!!!
You will be on a separate line and the immigration officer will ask you to go to a room and wait there while they verify your status. They will ask you questions to check if your anwers are consistent with your records.

Murthy.com forums has a special section for people dealing with misdemeanor issues and have gone through the process, may be you will get some more tips about preparing for the interview there. The White House has a "NO MATCH" rule which was exactly like the SAVE :D Act ( How do they come up with these names ) ? The NO MATCH rule was blocked 2 times in a row by US Judges . I wonder why do they waste time drafting these non starters. Waste of paper and Printer ink is at the most that these Bills go to .. "SAVE" the trees at least .
